A vacancy exists for a motivated, experienced casual massage therapist to join our team of dynamic allied health professionals at Mater’s Health and Wellness Clinic. As part of Mater Health Services Brisbane, the Mater Health and Wellness Clinic provides a multidisciplinary team of allied health clinicians to service clients of the Mater Adults, Mother’s and Children’s Private hospitals, Mater staff and the broader community. Specialist clinicians include Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists and Speech Pathologists. We provide services to a range of client groups including adults, children and pregnant and postnatal women.

We are seeking a motivated, hard working massage therapist with qualifications in remedial massage therapy to join our specialised team. We are currently looking to fill two 4hr sessions per week with a view to increasing hours. You must be:

• Experienced in deep tissue massage
• Preferably experienced in pregnancy and postnatal massage
• Member of a recognised professional association
• Registered with the major health funds
• Certified and current in first aid

You will have the opportunity to work for an established, reputable health care organisation, liaising closely with experienced physiotherapists and as part of a broad multidisciplinary team, caring for hospital patients, Mater staff and members of the local community.
