Value Adding to your Massage Service

For me essential oils add a whole new dimension to the massage. You don't have to be an Aromatherapist to benefit from and enjoy the use of aromatherapy. Here's how:

1. Out of all six senses the olfactory sense is the only one hard wired to the brain thus providing a direct link to smell and association. Essential oil blends added to a diffuser/oil burner create the perfect ambiance not to mention it will reassure and remind your clients of their treatment. Remember to alternate your blends eg. Clearing, Harmony & Euphoric Gold essential oil blends.

2. Have you noticed how dry your skin is at this time of year in particular? If your client's skin is extra dry your carrier oil is being soaked up fast, hence wasted. You can add avocado oil to your lighter carrier oil (my favourite is sweet almond) as a quick fix or:
If you really want good feed back offer a salt scrub containing essential oils and carrier oil. It's a nice way to start your massage adding an extra 15mins to slowly massage the salt scrub onto the back and take off with a moistened hot towel leaving the skin glowing ready to absorb less carrier oil. I have a nice yang Spicy salt scrub and a more yin Enliven salt scrub for body skin care. Also good for smoothing raised comedo.

3. Massage oil pre-blended with essential oils: Post-Sport, Relax, Relief, Joyous, Exotic, & Cellulite bath & massage oils.
