We would also like to include quoted reviews from our members, so if you've seen a helpful DVD on any massage related topic make sure you let us know!

Art Riggs: Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Release - A Video Guide to Techniques
A seven volume (11 hour) DVD set that covers every region of the body with a number of client positioning options. The DVD's are equally thorough when it comes to both assessment and treatment and there are special sections on self-maintenance, contraindications and treatment of specific injuries.
"I found Art Riggs dvds really useful and very informative. He is really focused on self preservation and teaches you a variety of ways to use your hands/knuckles/elbow etc in an ergonomic way. He also focuses on each region of the body and what you can do. Highly recommended." - nomis
"This is my favourite DVD set and I refer to it regularly. Art Riggs presents the subject matter in a well-paced and very clear manner. My only criticism is that the client is undraped in a swimsuit, so the viewer needs to work out ways of draping the client for some of the less common positions and techniques." - Luke
Sean Riehl: Deep Tissue & Neuromuscular Therapy - Torso
Covers the hips, back, belly, shoulders and neck. Learn to alleviate pain with 53 highly effective neuromuscular techniques! Get a 3-dimensional view of the muscles, which have been modeled out of clay and feature computer generated trigger point referral overlays.
"This is slightly less advanced than the Art Riggs DVD's, but the concepts are explained very clearly, and the clay models are just brilliant for offering a 3d perspective. This is a great DVD for remedial massage students." - Luke
Doug Alexander: Nerve Mobilization
This DVD covers advanced nerve tension tests that will allow the therapist to precisely evaluate the median, ulnar and radial nerves to discover exactly where they are impinged. Also includes over 65 soft tissue techniques including MFR, lymphatic, muscle release, nerve gliding and nerve stretching.
"Nerve testing is an intimidating area for some students and in some course texts is poorly described. So many of my clients have nerve impingement symptoms, which makes this DVD invaluable. The presentation is clear, although it is fast paced so several viewings are required for each nerve. My only other criticism is that the client in the DVDs doesn't appear to have anything wrong and doesn't offer much feedback." - Luke
Sean Riehl: Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This DVD will guide you through the anatomy of the lymphatic system, the nodes and drainage patterns, as well as contraindications & indications for lymphatic drainage massage. Also included are techniques to perform Lymphatic Drainage on your client and on yourself. The DVD also includes an interview with Allen Mills, a prominent Lymphatic Drainage therapist.
"If you're about to do a lymphatic drainage course, or you've done one but want to refresh your theory and techniques this DVD is brilliant. I don't recommend it in place of a hands on, instructor led course as initially you'll need your techniques and pressure assessed. Sean Riehl explains the theory very clearly from a solid scientific base. Techniques are also easy to follow, and the client draping is realistic. Highly recommended!" - Luke
